A W Tozer made the great devotional classics of the church the object of his study for many years. He also saturated his sound in the contemplation of the Scripture. Consequently, a high regard for the devotional aspect of the Christian life came through all of his writing. No superficial spiritual gymnastics could satisfy his hungry heart. He was a man in pursuit of God.
Renewed Day by Day is a compilation of a great deal of what the writer learned in his spiritual journey. It is a soul-searching, penetrating, and uplifting introduction to the true worship of God and His Son Jesus Christ. Dr Tozer believed with Paul that though his outer man was perishing, his inner man was being renewed day by day.
