It seeks to answer many questions:

what is revival? what was its relation in the past to preaching, church membership and the Bible? how was it expressed in the lives and ministries of such people as Richard Baxter, Griffith Jones of Llanddowror, the early Welsh Methodist leaders, David Jones of Llan-gan and John Davies of Tahiti? why is there no revival today and what is our duty at the present time?
