We learn of Hooper's fearless faith in Christ and the truths of the Bible. He was considered to be one of the busiest clerics of his day, staunchly defending his beliefs, which would lead to his being burnt at the stake.
Drawing from a wide range of sources - particulary Hooper's own correspondence and writings - Pete Sullivan provides a vivid, lively account of hte final turbulent years of Hooper's life, set against the religious and political drama of the day.
