Books of Samuel vol 2

This very simple treatment of 2 Samuel, is designed for those who wish to take a careful look at the old familiar stories of the Bible. Unsophisticated and unadorned, this study follows the format established previously in my expositions of the books of Judges and Ruth. The central focus of this commentary is to show that the sovereign God weaves His own historical patterns alongside human failure and sin, challenging familiar interpretations of 2 Samuel.
