Israel and The Blessing of the Tribes

This book is based on the prophecies of Jacob in Genesis 49 and of Moses in Deuteronomy 33. The author reminds the reader of their importance and significance because they form an introduction to Israel's history, a history which occupies so much of the Old Testament. The reason we have this history is meant for our learning and our profit, to be warned by their failures and encouraged by their successes.

These two scriptural chapters gives us a brief outline, prophetically of God's dealing with His people and they contain many lessons for believers of every generation and apart from the warning and encouragement of Israel, they exhibit God's holiness and compassion.
