These studies in the life and ministry of Elisha the prophet are the outcome of a series of 25 sermons preached on the same theme over forty years ago. The abundant life offered to us by our risen Master is revival life. In that life lies the answer to every problem facing Christians, both individually and collectively. We have sought in these studies to show how a man who enjoyed abundant life expressed it in crisis after crisis. And it is our prayer that our readers may be helped to appropriate that abundant life and to apply it to their own particular and personal problems.
