In Jacob’s life we see the long suffering and patience of God in moulding a man into what He wants him to be. When God begins to work in a person's life, He does not stop until He is finished. This is clearly seen in the life of Jacob.

As Theodore Epp prepared these messages, first for radio, then in book form, his main burden was that believers might realize that the God of Jacob is their God also.
