The Rise and Progress of Religion in the Soul by Philip Doddridge and published by Classics.
Philip Doddridge is best know for his hymn writing, but this work was first published in 1745 and has touched the hearts of many including William Wilberforce and John Newton. This book was a project given to Doddridge by his friend Isaac Watts who was too sick to write it himself. It contains 30 chapters which cover the entire Christian experience and each chapter end with a prayer.
