Hanegraaff, arguably the world's foremost amillennial partial preterist, points his pen directly at popular premillennialism in his search for the truth behind the prophecies of Revelation and other end-time texts. By looking at these passages in a new way he proposes a new hermeneutic, unveiling a form of typology touting Christ as the fulfillment of every biblical 'type and shadow'. Seemingly future fulfillments of some prophecies (including Davidic and Abrahamic promises) are re-imagined as a form of covenant theology, and premillenialism models are discarded in favor of the futurist model as presented. This is the foundational information for his fictional series (co-authored with Sigmund Brouwer), The Last Disciple series.
